Quindici medallion (Round zipper L) / Medallion Indigo (Indigo dyed leather)
The leather used is the highest quality indigo-dyed leather made in Japan, tanned using environmentally friendly methods.
The deep indigo leather on the outside takes on an indescribably transparent ultramarine look when exposed to sunlight, so please enjoy it in the sunlight. The inside is made of indigo-dyed leather that is two tones lighter in color to express the difference in appearance.
Even regular vegetable tanned leather takes a lot of time and effort to make, but indigo-dyed leather is made even more by hand, with each piece being dyed with indigo multiple times, making it a rare leather that cannot be mass-produced.
The hands of the craftsmen who dye the leather are dyed in indigo blue. Normally, indigo dye fades easily, but this leather is processed to prevent the color from fading.
*Indigo-dyed leather is dyed by hand, so uneven coloring may occur. Please understand that this is also the nature of the product and the result of the handmade process.
The front of the main body has a medallion design reminiscent of a shoe, with holes drilled into each one.
The zipper is from the top brand Excela, and the shine of the silver is elegant and the slider glides smoothly, just like a precious metal.
The zipper pull is accented with vermilion leather, which goes well with indigo; this is only available on the indigo-dyed round zipper model.
The D-rings are selected for their beautiful designs and the base metal is nickel-plated brass.
The edges of the leather are processed using a technique called cut-edge processing, which makes them more durable than leather with turned edges. Even if the edges deteriorate, it is possible to repair them in some cases, and they are given a beautiful, smooth matte finish during the manufacturing process.
The interior has four card slots on each side, with a space below which is just big enough for bills, and both sides have the same specifications.
The coin purse in the center of the main body has an additional gusset that can be opened for easier use, and there are card slots on both sides of the outside of the coin purse.
There are a total of 15 pockets.
The name Quindici means 15 in Italian.
